Who we are

Tootler is operated by Byteoski Devs. This policy covers the Tootler website, launch waitlist, and Tootler app when available. Contact us at support@tootler.ai for privacy questions or requests.

Information we collect

• Waitlist information: the name and email address you submit to receive launch updates.
• Account and profile information: your email address, profile details you provide, and preparation preferences such as exam goals or stage.
• Study activity: reading progress, annotations, quiz answers and scores, revision activity, and streaks associated with your account.
• Device and service information: technical information used to operate the app, such as device identifiers, platform, app version, timezone, notification preferences, and push-notification tokens where notifications are enabled.
• Analytics information: product-usage events and associated technical or account identifiers processed by PostHog where analytics is enabled.
• Support information: information you choose to include when you contact us, including messages and diagnostic details.

The app is preparing for launch. App-related categories above describe the service’s account and learning features; joining the website waitlist does not by itself create an app account.

How we use information

• Send the launch updates you requested.
• Authenticate your account, remember preferences, and deliver reading, quizzes, revision, and progress features.
• Deliver notifications when enabled and maintain reliable service operation.
• Understand product usage through PostHog analytics and improve Tootler.
• Respond to support, privacy, and deletion requests.

Service providers and sharing

We use service providers to run Tootler. The website waitlist uses Supabase to store submissions and Slack to notify our team about signups. We use PostHog for analytics. These providers process information needed for their respective functions. Operational records can also contain information submitted to the service.

We do not use advertising or share your data with advertisers for advertising. Information may also be disclosed when required by applicable law. Providers may process data in countries other than your own.

Retention and deletion

Our account-data policy is to retain your data until you delete your account, then delete it immediately when account deletion is completed. Sending a deletion request is not itself confirmation that the account has been deleted. We may need to verify account ownership before completing a request.

This policy applies to the account and its associated personal data, including profile details, study activity, device associations, and identifiable analytics records. For the launch waitlist, you can request removal of your name and email without creating or deleting an app account.

Visit Delete account & data for the request process. We do not publish a separate retained-account-data period after deletion.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information by emailing support@tootler.ai. You can leave the waitlist through the same address. Notification permissions can be managed through your device settings. Where applicable law gives you additional privacy rights, contact us to exercise them.

Cookies and local storage

Tootler may use local storage or similar technologies for account sessions and app preferences. Analytics configurations may use identifiers or similar technologies. The launch-waitlist page does not currently include a client-side analytics tracker.

Security

We aim to limit access to personal information to the people and providers who need it to operate the service. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Never send passwords or one-time login codes in a support or deletion email.
